the next thing

the future is here

facebook, twitter, youtube, myspace, live streaming movies etc

Facebook

Facebook is the largest social network today and you can find a lot of people in the 20-40 year old range (30% of Facebook users are over 35). Do you have or want to have customers, then you should have an online community.

With a company page at Facebook (not a personal profile for a company) you can provide information about your company, present an event calendar, videos and photos, discussion board and much more. That's a good start, later you can start a group, engage some "fans" and have your own community.

Twitter

Think it through before you start. Is it really your company that should twitter, maybe it should be the employees instead? Long term approach, that's what community building is all about - just like when you create a relationship in the real world.

Youtube, Vimeo and streaming video

Make a film about a company, product or service and put it on YouTube and the company web site. Why? Because today people doesn't have the same patient with reading as they used to have, to start with. Come and pay us a visit and we will show you some films that really done it for other companies.
